Forums seem more popular than email lists by lots of people. Will take a Twitter poll...

google groups. google everything for that matter. it's what i'm showing everyone at the tech crunches because its a one stop integrated thing. maybe not always the best tool out there, but much easier to manage than multiple tools for the average user. over time, they can grow out of google to other things. but my thinking was to gain familiarity and momentum first.
